Review after clearing Fade to Silence

If you express this game in one word, it will be [Unreasonable Sabage]. However, I personally don’t have the impression that it’s a dung game, but rather it’s a work that I enjoyed playing.

Actually, this is my first attempt at survival games, and I usually play action games and death games. Because it is such a human impression, I think that the feeling is different from those who usually play survival games. 😓

Fade to Silence Review ｜ Recommended Points

• By dying more than a certain number of times, the system that loses everything and restarts can feel the tension of death even more.
• The game itself is relatively easy to play, such as key operation and craft difficulty (required number of materials), and it is easy for beginners to play.
• Monster battles are simple with only attacks (strong and weak attacks) and avoidance.
• The world of snowy landscape invites you to feel immersive, such as the sound of stepping on the snow and the whiteness of your breath.

Fade to Silence Review ｜ Unfortunately

Although the game itself has two types of endings, there is no world after the ending. In other words, there is no survival element.

Game overview

The hero who awakens at the morgue expands the exploration area while purifying the polluted frigid land. The purpose of the hero is to regain the lost memory, but there is no element to look for clues, and by sleeping, one has a dream (a fragment of memory). When the search area expanded, I had a new dream.

In other words, expanding the search area is the task of the player!

In order to expand the exploration area, it is necessary to collect materials and craft food, bonfires, tools, etc. While exploring, you may meet survivors and become followers (friends). It is a game with survival elements intertwined, such as instructing followers to build at the place of residence (starting point) or creating items in the completed building.

Difficulty selection

There are only two types of difficulty, roughly speaking, survival (high difficulty) and exploration (low difficulty). This selection will change the tension of the game. 😅

The biggest feature of Fade to Silence

If you select Survival on the difficulty level, the following conditions will be imposed.

• Death limit: The number of times you can start again from your place of residence even if you die.
• If the number of deaths is 1, you lose all your followers, buildings, stockpiles, etc. and restart.

As a remedy, there are items that can increase the number of deaths, so it is not a messy difficulty.

For me, who loves dying games, this tense system was the best match 😊 In fact, I lost everything several times, but I was able to enjoy the joy of developing the exploration area every time I tried again.

Perhaps this one point is a match between Fade to Silence and the player!

Unreasonable object

In addition to monsters and climate (temperature), there are other factors that hinder the progress of the main character in this game. An object and a tornado floating in the sky.

It tries to damage the hero by dropping various objects from the sky.

Even when the menu is open, such as when checking the map or crafting, I do not hesitate to make a drop attack, so I tasted that I died several times with the menu screen open without noticing the approach of this object. 😓

As you expand the search area, there are places where [tornado] wanders. I’m a cousin who passes by, but I can’t ignore it because there are purification points.

Of course, if you get caught, you will be blown high in the air and die after a long and long fall time.
