Assassin’s Creed Valhara | DLC Siege of Paris |

As you all know, the recommended combat power for the Siege of Paris is 200. I made a special attack on the siege of Paris with a combat power of 170 and a difficulty level of Berserker.

AC Valhalla ｜ Siege of Paris ｜ Corruption of shantytown

The story rushes into the corruption of the shantytown. The main purpose is to assassinate Bishop Englewin. In the Siege of Paris, the assassination event will be unlocked by collecting target information and clues, and you will be able to decide on a “dramatic assassination”.

Conversation looking for Sigfred

Slum Corruption is a quest set in Paris. When you arrive in Paris, let’s skip Senu. The area where you should look for Sig Fred will be focused.

Sigfred seems to be in the basement. When you go down, you will encounter a flock of mice for the first time in this work.

～Flock of mice～

It’s important for future quests, so be sure to remember what’s displayed on the screen!

• Mice cannot be subdued.
• If you do nothing, you will be hit by a multi-stage attack similar to slip damage and will die in a short amount of time.
• Mice can be repelled by attacks (weapons, torches).
• The attacked mouse escapes into the sewers and crevices.
• The escaped mouse will attack again unless it is blocked by an object.
• Can be highlighted with Odin’s eyes.

I can’t find anything to block here, so I’ll run through the gap I’ve driven into the sewer. There was Sigfred ahead of that. Guided by Sigfred, the two move to a hill.

There, while looking down at the man giving the speech, Sigfred gives an explanation of the people around the king and what they are doing. And instead of killing Bishop Englewin who assaulted Melun, Avol promised Sigfred to help him find King Charles.

A little bit of knowledge | How to return to England

If the Siege of Paris feels unreasonable due to lack of combat power, talk to Pierre in Melun after arriving in the Frankish Kingdom and the reception desk, called the Rebel Mission, will be released.

Pierre and his rebel supporters are scattered all over the Frankish kingdom, so if you go there you will be able to return to England in addition to receiving rebel missions.

Depending on your playing skills, you can increase your fighting power and then return to the Frankish Kingdom.

Assassinate Bishop Englewin!

It is the player’s job to gather information to enter the church where Englewin is supposed to be. In this DLC, “dramatic assassination” will be possible by collecting information. It is a special assassination in which the assassination timing appears in addition to the movie, and it is the moment when the immersive feeling is greatly enhanced.

Gathering information at the bar

First of all, it seems to be gathering information at the bar, but I wandered around Paris without knowing where it was. As a result, the bar existed where the shop was on the map.

When you enter the bar, you will see a landscape that seems to be everywhere. There is a landlady in the back, so let’s talk. The bishop seems to have never come here, but the search items will be displayed by talking to the landlady.

With Odin’s eyes, he catches a man who is drunk and complaining with orders. The man seems to have had his daughter taken by someone. From the two obtained information, two new markers will appear on the map.

Epidemic district

I wrote down what seems to be the secret word to enter the church, and decided to head to the plague district where the agent with it was supposed to have gone. There is one sister, so when you talk to him, he will tell you the sewerage system to which the person who seems to be your agent is heading.

～How to get the long-range ability “Rat Invasion”～

A little detour! A long-distance ability is sleeping in the building on the stairs on the left side from the place where Sister is, so collect it.

Ability recovery procedure

① Go up along the frame of the door blocked by the tree and move up from the shade on the right.

② When you reach the top of the wall, move to the right.

③ Jump down one step and look back at the entrance.

④ Check the destructible floor on the far right of the entrance and go up the stairs on the left.

⑤ Hold the flame jar on the top.

⑥ You cannot go down the stairs while holding the flame jar. The way to get off at this place is to jump from the stairs side to the other side with the ✖ button, and you can jump on the rope.

⑦ Place a flame jar to destroy the floor and go down.

⑧ You can see a mouse near the ability. Move through the gap to the room with the ability and destroy the wall on the left.

⑨ A sewage ditch will appear, so collect the ability when you drive the mouse away.

～What is a mouse invasion?～

Attach the mouse food to the arrow. A little later, a flock of vicious mice appears at the point of impact of the arrow.

You can use it unexpectedly when you actually use it. However, it seems that only one enemy is attacked by the mouse. (It is not confirmed because the verification is insufficient.)

Investigate sewer

The sewerage system taught by Sister is almost a straight road, although there are some places where you can’t proceed unless you dive underwater, so you won’t get lost. At the destination, you will find a letter with a corpse that seems to be an agent and a secret word to enter the church.

You can now enter the church, but in the flooded shantytowns, you can get a scythe of hardship in flames. Let’s go immediately.

How to get a scythe of hardship

When you reach the flooded area, use Odin’s eyes near the church to locate the scythe. The hardship scythe seems to be sleeping underground.

① Go to the flooded shantytown.

② From the ivy-covered hut around the church to the basement.

③ Enter the partitioned room with the scythe of hardship.

④ Get rid of the mouse and get a scythe.

If you look around the church, you will find a hut covered with ivy. Enter the basement from here!

Through the underwater and underground passages, we head to the room where the suffering scythe sleeps. There is also a place to drive away the mice on the way, so it is a way to be alert.

When you reach a place where you can see the “Scythe of Hardship” on the right, you will enter the partitioned room through the gap on the left. There is also a mouse here, so attack and get a scythe with a chance to get rid of it.

The “Scythe of Hardship” has a long reach, and even a weak attack can be a strong attack, so when the finish of the third consecutive hit hits an enemy, it is an excellent one that wears flames. It looks like a sickle used by a god of death and is cool!

Infiltrate the church

When you step outside the place where you found the agent’s letter, you will see the entrance to the church in front of you. You can talk to the man standing at the entrance and enter with the secret word.

You have finally reached your assassination goal. Here, we will collect information and things to unlock the “dramatic assassination”.

As soon as you enter the church area, you can use Odin’s eyes to see the guardian with the key. Avoid fighting here and steal from behind!

Once inside the church, there is a treasure chest in the partitioned room on the immediate left. If you go up to the wall in front and move to the right, you can go inside.

After picking up the treasure chest, return to the original place and talk to the man. Talking to this guy will give you the next clue to unlock the dramatic assassination.

Use Odin’s eyes to look upstairs as the man says.

When I went upstairs and examined the two marked places, “God’s warriors’ robe” and the man’s older brother stood moody. The “God’s Warriors’ Robe” is a costume needed to get closer to the bishop, and since there is no fighting here, let’s equip it immediately.

When I talk to my brother upstairs, the entrance to the basement is focused, so when I get off, a man stands. When the man confirms the “Robe of the Warriors of God”, he is instructed to hand over the key to the entrance and enter.

～Solving the mystery from Sister～

When the man told me that the bishop was waiting, Sister was waiting. 😓 The mystery begins to be solved with a meaningful conversation from Sister. However, it is not difficult because hint command instructions are given at key points.

① Use Odin’s eyes.

② Light the focused pedestal (two places) with a torch.

③ Sister will come away from the front of the door.

To the bottom of Bishop Englewin

Finally, I caught the target Bishop Englewin. If you are wearing the robes of the god warriors, the guards will not attack you unless you approach them quickly.

To avoid stimulating the guards, move to the marked assassination event location and interact to start the movie.

An assassination command that suddenly appears in the movie. There is a time limit, so let’s press the 〇 button because you can’t see it in the movie. This is the “dramatic assassination” adopted in this siege of Paris.

Of course, it is possible to assassinate the guards as usual while approaching Bishop Englewin and assassinating them, but since it’s a big deal, why not try a dramatic assassination?
