Assassin’s Creed Valhalla | DLC Siege of Paris |
In Paris, the weapons left by the hideouts have been sleeping for centuries. It is a one-handed sword called Joyeuse, and its special effect is a weapon that wears poison under specific conditions. I would like to introduce how to obtain this one-handed sword in order from the activation of the quest to the acquisition.

In the DLC Siege of Paris, there are many new weapons and abilities. In particular, you can get several types of one-handed swords adopted from the Sigur Blot Festival. Among them, the one that seems to have the highest attack power is the weapon “Joyeuse” left by the hidden person.

【目次】
The general procedure is as follows.
① Release the side quest “Hidden Things”.
② Find three keys.
③ Use the key at the Lutetia branch.
Open the map of the Frankish Kingdom and you will find a branch of the Hidden in the western part of Paris. First of all, start by entering the inside of the branch and finding the locked door.

The hidden Lutetia branch is located in an area with stone pillars and walls that look like collapsed ruins. However, there are many obstacles to walk on the ground, so it may be difficult to find them.
When you arrive at the site, you can easily find it by climbing up to a high place and looking down!

Select the released side quest “Hidden” and open the map to focus on the three ruins. The order is not fixed, so let’s search for the keys in the order you like.
important point
In addition to keys, each archeological site also has abilities, so don’t forget to explore and obtain them!

1. From the memorandum of the tent, it was found that it was possible to invade the ruins from underwater.
2. Underwater ⇒ passage ⇒ underwater ⇒ wall destruction, get keys and abilities.
Wolves are wandering around at this site, so it’s a good idea to get rid of them first.

First, go up to the place where the sync point is and open it up, then look down at the surroundings and find the entrance. You can quickly find a place that can be destroyed, but it is impossible to invade the inside of the ruins from here.

there were! There is a movable blockage when going down, but it cannot be moved. Apparently the entrance seems to be another place. 😓

I found a memorandum in a nearby tent! It is written that there is another entrance below the surface of the water.

If you jump into the water from the ruins and go to the left, you will find a passage that looks like an entrance.

Ascend at the end of the man-made passage to climb up. There is a door with a familiar logo at the end, so open it and go inside.

Immediately after entering the door, jump into the water again. Underwater, there is an oil jar on the opposite side of the wall that can be destroyed when it advances counterclockwise and ascends.

Beyond the destruction of the wall, there are abilities and keys.

There is a door in the room, which leads to the place of the blockage that could not be moved earlier. There is a flock of mice on the way, so let’s proceed with caution!

1. Assassinate a guard near the patterned ground from the roof.
2. Destroy the floor near the stairs and invade the ruins.
3. There is a passage to the left and right at the end of the hidden person’s logo door. Tungsten on the left and a key on the right.
4. There is a desk with books in the middle of the passage on the right side, and there is a destructible wall in the back.
5. Destroy the wall and proceed, and if you destroy the wall on the right side, there is an ability upgrade.
There are several Frank soldiers at this site. Since it is troublesome, it is recommended to invade the ruins with a minimum of battle.

When you go up to the roof and look down, there is one guard near the patterned ground. Aim for assassination from a high place, and if successful, destroy the floor near the stairs and invade the ruins.

Unlike Diodrum, the keys and abilities are in separate rooms. At the end of the door, there is a parting road to the left and right. The left is a treasure chest containing tungsten, and the key is at the end on the right. There is a flock of mice in the aisle, so let’s go while driving away or climbing up the wall and moving sideways.

In the middle of the right passage, there is a room with books on the desk, and behind it is a destructible wall. If you have acquired the shoulder tackle of the ability, you can destroy the wall without an oil pot, which is useful.

To the right of the destroyed wall is a wall that can be destroyed again. If you break this wall, there will be an ability upgrade for “Rat Invasion”.
“Rat Invasion” is surprisingly versatile and is one of the abilities you want to acquire. When used on the ground near crowded enemies, it can damage multiple people, and since it pays attention to mice, it can be easily approached and chased.
However, be aware that flag-bearer-class enemies will attack without fear of mouse damage. 😓

1. Destroy the wooden floor and invade the ruins.
2. Enter the door with the hidden person logo and destroy the left wall.
3. Get the key in the room beyond.
4. Return to the entrance and pull the mobile blocker at the end to the front.
5. If you go inside through the wall hole on the right side of the entrance, you will come out to the other side of the moved blockage.
6. Get the ability in the back room.
When you arrive at the ruins, you can skip Senu and you will soon find the wooden floor that will be the entrance.

As soon as you destroy the floor and go down, there is a door with a logo so you can go inside. Immediately after entering, you will notice a wall hole on the right and a destructible wall on the left. The key is at the end of the destructible wall on the left, so if you have the ability’s shoulder tackle, you can easily destroy it and get it.

Once you have the key, go back to the entrance to pick up the ability. There are a few steps here, first pulling the movable block at the end of the aisle all the way to the entrance.

After that, we go inside through the wall hole right at the entrance, but since there is a flock of mice here, we run through while driving away.

There is a wall hole again, so when you go inside, you will come out to the other side of the blockage you moved earlier. There is an ability in the back room, so get it.

1. Open the door with three keys.
2. Secure visibility with a torch.
3. Be careful of falling counterclockwise and proceed.
4. When you reach the top of the thin scaffolding, throw the torch down and check the floor with the logo of the hidden person.
5. There is a destructible wall at the end indicated by the upper part of the logo.
6. After destroying the wall, we arrived at the room where Joyeuse sleeps.
Now you are ready to get “Joyeuse”. Since we have all three keys, return to the Lutetia branch and open the locked door.

Perhaps because I entered the branch at night, the inside was dark and I could hardly see the surroundings such as my feet. The scenery where the light shines in and the wall in the back can be seen is mysterious and the excitement increases.

First, secure visibility with a torch. The book was noticeable, so if you go to the left, you can find the book that the hidden person wrote in the past.

If you look around from the spot, you can see the counterclockwise course. If you proceed while paying attention to the fall, a flock of mice will welcome you.

You can see a thin scaffolding as you proceed while driving away. If you jump to this scaffold and throw the torch down, you can see the floor with the logo engraved on it.

There is a destructible wall in the direction indicated by the top of the logo, so destroy it and go inside. This place where several poisonous snakes nest is the room where Joyeuse, who has been sleeping for hundreds of years, is hidden.

When you get the Joyeuse and go outside, the logo is lit as if to celebrate awakening from centuries of sleep. The Lutetia branch has several books, so if you explore and look around, you will feel more immersive.
