Assassin’s Creed Valhalla | DLC Siege of Paris |

The final battle with Charles. The queen who survived the Trial by Ordeal of Fire Blame demands that Charles be kept alive. As with Sigfred, there are options to save or kill Charles. Of course, there are changes in the movie, but it will be a little difficult to make use of it.

I will introduce the difference between the case of keeping it alive and the case of killing it with a video this time as well.

The story changes from the beginning, but even in the Japanese version, the game creation is wonderful. 😁

AC Valhalla | DLC Siege of Paris | King Charles Madness

He won the second “Gozlan Battle” and safely avoided the fire blame of Queen Richardis. The stage changes into the mansion, and the story goes on to “King Charles’ Madness”.

The terrifying sight inside the mansion may be a proof that Charles’ inner devil is at its peak.

From the back of the front door, you can hear Charles speaking. It seems that two keys are required to enter the other side of the door, which is considered to be a sanctuary.

1. Get the devil’s key.

2. Obtain the keyed ① of the sanctuary door.

3. Obtain the keyed ② of the sanctuary door.

4. Open the door of the sanctuary and fight against Charles.

It doesn’t matter which of the steps 1 and 2 comes first.

1. Get the devil’s key.

Looking around the sanctuary door, you can see the entrance next to the stairs. There is one woman who is frightened when entering, and a corpse is lying on the table. There is a “devil’s key” next to the corpse, but depending on how you approach it, it cannot be detected and tends to be overlooked.

The “Devil’s Key” is required to obtain the Sanctuary Door Key ②.

2. Obtain the keyed ① of the sanctuary door.

As you move up the stairs, you will find a platform with instructions for your servants. Proceed into the door next to it.

As soon as you open the door, there is a blockage, so let’s push it in. Then, destructible walls will appear from both sides. “Destroy everything that can be destroyed” I believe that is the ironclad rule of this game. 😁

Destroy it and proceed to the back to get the “Altar Room Key” on the table. This is one of the keys to open the door of the sanctuary.

3. Obtain the keyed ② of the sanctuary door.

Let’s go get another “Sacred Door Key ②”. Proceed to the entrance decorated with stone statues and red roses on the same floor as the room where you obtained the “Sacred Door Keyed ①”.

There is a servant inside, but it is strictly forbidden to approach it as it will burn out soon. The target key is behind the door on the right. The “devil’s key” is required to open this door.

Now go inside and get the key on your desk. The second key is written as “angel’s key”.

4. Open the door of the sanctuary and fight against Charles.

The “Altar Room Key” and the “Angel Key” are the two keys needed to open the sanctuary door. If you use two keys, the movie will start. The stage will finally proceed to the final battle with Charles.

Whether to catch or kill Charles

There are no particular choices. Whether to capture or kill Charles depends on how you fight. In other words, if Charles’ life gauge is cut off, he will die, and if he is trapped before the life gauge is cut off, he will be alive.

When catching Charles

If you want to catch Charles, there are steps. Although the verification was not repeated many times, the procedure would be as follows. If Charles leaves the room before he locks him in the room, he will have to start over.

① Open the barred door at the back of the area.

② Shave Charles’ life gauge to the remaining 1/3.

③ Guide to the room where the iron grill was.

④ Bring Charles down (power gauge 0) as far back as possible in the room.

⑤ Hurry up and lock in with the lever outside the room.

If you make many mistakes, Charles’ life gauge will be lost and you will die, so it will be a little troublesome work. There may be a more efficient method. 😓 First of all, please watch the video and check the procedure.

When killing Charles

Killing Charles is pretty easy. All you have to do is cut off Charles’ life gauge before you die.

That said, it takes a considerable amount of time to slash the life gauge with just normal weapons and attacks. Charles is vulnerable to fire, so you can save time by using weapons and fire stands.

・ Use fire-type weapons.

・ Fight near the fire stand.

・ When the fire is extinguished, light the fire with a torch.
