Skyrim SE ｜ The Final Trial of the Black Star

“Black Star” is a quest that occurs when you talk to “Aranea Jennis” in Azura’s Shrine. Azura is Daedra Road (King of Daedra), who has the greatest power among Daedra, and is one of the 16 kings.

In this quest, you can either return the “Destroyed Azura Star” to Azura on Daedra Road, or give it to Nerakar, who will continue the research of Meyrin Valen, or you will get different things when you clear the quest.

In any case, you need to defeat “Meyrin Valen” to clear it, and depending on the Dovakin level, a difficult battle is waiting.

Black Star | Fierce Fighting Meyrin Valen

There is no special training, and it is a series of defeats at Lv20, a decent dark party Dovakin that started in October 2021. 😓

The method of approaching and instantly killing during the Meyrin conversation at the beginning of the war, which is introduced by seniors of Skyrim, and the method of defeating Dremora Kinval who does not approach by using a corner with a bow etc. can be reproduced on PS5. did not.

How to defeat Meyrin Valen

Otori tactics is the method that I tried various methods to find out what happened. In the first place, it would be good to try again after raising the level, but I am a dying game lover, and I have the intention to fly if I blow it. 😁

Preparations

First of all, you need to “summon the spirit of fire” to play the role of Otori. When the summoning skill reaches the apprenticeship, it can be summoned by consuming Magicka 150. You can learn by obtaining and using the book of spells.

After that, prepare a lot of medicine for magic recovery and health recovery.

Weapons prepare long-range weapons such as bows.

Defeat 3 Dremora Kinval

Meyrin Valen moves to the bottom, just to say what I want to say. The biggest problem here is the three Dremora Kinvals that block the way. Because it approaches while releasing the magic of high firepower, even if it fights back while retreating, it will eventually be cornered and die.

When you turn the corner where Meyrin stood, you will find the first Dremora, so prepare “Summon the Spirit of Fire” in advance and proceed. Around the corner, a little further, summon the spirit of fire.

Since Dremora aims at the spirit of fire, immediately switch to a bow and attack carefully so that it is not on the magical line of sight that Dremora shoots.

After 60 seconds, the Fire Spirit will disappear, so use medicine to recover to 150 Magicka and summon the Fire Spirit again. At this time, don’t forget to recover your physical strength. As soon as you summon it, you can switch to a bow and attack.

Summon the spirit of fire → Attack by switching to a bow → When the spirit disappears, recover magic and physical strength and summon again → Attack by switching to a bow Repeat this to eliminate 3 Dremora.

If you defeat 3 Dremora, it’s almost clear, but it’s a quick save.

Recover Daedra’s Heart

Collect the “Daedra’s Heart” from the three Dremora and head to the bottom layer. I haven’t actually tried it, but it is insurance if it cannot be collected.

Defeating Meyrin Valen, who is hiding at the bottom, will immediately bring you back to the world of Skyrim with Azura’s compliments.

Defeat Meyrin Valen

When you reach the bottom, you will find Meyrin Valen. Meyrin is not strong by itself, so if you can reach this point, you can easily defeat Dovakin even in close proximity. Because I am a party of darkness, I will shoot with a bow by taking advantage of the unexpected correction by covertness.

As you can see, you can lose more than half of your physical strength with a single blow, so it’s no exaggeration to say that it’s an easy victory. The road to this point was very steep, and I once thought about interrupting the quest and raising the level.

If you have a Dovakin who is struggling like me, you will need a spirit of fire, but I think it would be a good idea to consider it as a means. 😅

Meyrin Valen’s belongings

Meyrin Valen doesn’t have any valuable belongings, but if you force him to take it, it’s a “lightning wand”. If you take it, check the corpse as soon as possible. If you are slow, you will be pulled back to the Skyrim world.

Make Aranea Jennis a servant

Since you have successfully cleared the quest “Black Star” via Aranea, you will make Aranea, the original purpose, a servant. As I say many times, I wanted to make Aranea a servant, so I chose to deliver the “Destroyed Azura Star” to Aranea and return it to King Daedra Azura.

Aranea is not the strongest, but he is a reliable servant who can magically support you and summon spirits if you have a summoning wand.
