Dying Light PS Version | Challenge Underground Parking Lot

Dying Light PS Version | Underground Parking Lot |

In Dying Light, there are games called “Challenge” in addition to the main quests and subquests. The content is to achieve the purpose under the condition of time limit or isolated area.

The challenge in the isolated area is to find 5 disaster relief packages and get survival points when you deliver them to the supplies department.

Dying Light PS version | Challenge “Underground Parking Lot”

There are some conditions for “challenge” that exist. It seems that there are two types, one that talks to a specific person after advancing the main quest to some extent, and the other that occurs only by discovering a place regardless of the main quest.

The “underground parking lot” that we will challenge this time is the latter type, and you can play it by discovering the place.

Location of underground parking lot

The location is at the edge of the map, northwest of the slum tower. If you just started the game, it is in a distant place with danger just to go to the site.

Talk to your playing skills before deciding whether to venture.

When you arrive at the site, you will find an abandoned building, and if you look around, you will find the entrance to the underground parking lot. It will start when you approach the shutter and move inside.

Challenge content

The goal of the underground parking lot will be cleared if you collect all 5 “disaster relief supplies” that exist in the isolated area. The reward is cyber points 2500, but if you take the collected disaster relief supplies back to the tower and deliver them to the supplies section, you will get cyber points.

Underground parking practice

Let’s enter the underground parking lot and actually do it. Because it was my first challenge, I proceeded in a fumbling state. The inside is dim, and 5 markers are displayed on the minimap on the upper right.

Steal the enemy’s eyes and clear the target in the quarantine area, which is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen. Below that, there are two notes.

I took a path to the left, and when I proceeded, there were two zombies. Even if it was said to steal the eyes of the enemy, the battle was inevitable.

Since there are only two bodies, I will judge that I will not die and will hit hard.

During the battle with the second one after defeating the first one, a danger sign will appear on the screen. When you suddenly turned your eyes to the mini-map, there was an enemy shadow approaching.

By the way, I remembered the volatile during the patrol. Death was a momentary event, especially this time it was from behind, so it was an instant death. 😅

Can Volatile get rid of?

If you do it, try again! In order to take revenge on Volatile, I picked up a high-powered shotgun and a bow and restarted. Defeat the zombies that were disturbed by Volatile earlier and failed to kill them with a bow, and search for Volatile.

It’s easy to discover and you’ll be approaching from Volatile. The next moment when I felt refreshed after defeating Volatile with two gunshots, the display on the upper right changed to “Let’s go to the entrance of the underground parking lot of the slum“.

And will it increase to one and two volatiles that will reappear? That would kill you.

Conclusion: If you defeat the Volatile, the challenge itself will not be completed, and a group of Volatile will come to invite you to kill it.

The number of volatile is four. It seems that the quest itself will be treated as uncleared when it is found in Volatile. In other words, attacking Volatile = found in Volatile.

However, it is possible to collect disaster relief supplies, so the conclusion is that if you want to earn survivor points, you can collect them without going outside.

Precautions

① Always be aware of minimaps.

② Don’t think about defeating Volatile even if you make a mistake.

③ Use quiet weapons such as melee weapons and bows for battle.

Understand the rules and practice again

Anyway, I understood well that it is a game to go through the eyes of Volatile and collect 5 “disaster relief supplies”.

As you approach the marker navigating the minimap, you will see an orange area. Look for disaster relief supplies in this. Since there are a wide variety of cars in the area, you can easily imagine that they are inside the car.

Sure enough, all five were in the car. Of course, there are also points where zombies roam around, so try to get rid of them as quietly as possible before cleaning the trunk of the car.

Get rid of zombies first

Anyway, I checked the surrounding zombies and fought with a headshot with a bow as a basic strategy.

Of course, defeating everything before being approached can be a bit daunting. While switching between the bow and the melee weapon, I decided to exterminate while retreating so as not to be surrounded. It was effective to ride on a car and fight, but if you are fighting while being aware of the minimap, you will often fall. 😓

Chest is also important

There are several chests in the underground car park. Especially the blue chest has one weapon in it. The percentage of appearance rate is unknown, but we confirmed the appearance of orange weapons on normal difficulty.

Upgrade items have also appeared in regular chests, so it is recommended that you collect them if you can afford them.

The end of the challenge is in the underground parking lot

Surprisingly, the challenge ends when the fifth disaster relief item is collected. From the underground parking lot where Boratile roams, it is a great enemy until it survives safely to the outside. In order to earn cyber points, I think it is important to survive until it is delivered to the supplies section.

This time the quest itself was not cleared, but I will try again and again. The underground parking lot was very exciting and fun. 😁
