Dying Light | Fragrant herbs

As you progress through the main story, various quests will be posted on the bulletin board in front of the tower elevator. A skinhead “Toyger” is resident in front of the bulletin board, waiting for players to receive orders.

If you proceed to the main story “Agreement with Rise“, the “fragrant herbs” introduced this time will be posted.

Lavender collection location

Lavender lives in the northeastern tip of the slum map. For me, I thought about a route that seems to be relatively safe. First of all, please see the map below.

It is a method of starting from the north side of the tower, diving into the sea via the radio tower in the safe area, and swimming to the destination area.

Beware of viral attacks

Depending on the difficulty setting, if the setting is above normal, it can be said that the “viral” attack is the most troublesome during the daytime. At first, even one body will be surrounded by several bodies after a few seconds.

Immediately after exiting the north exit of the tower, I encountered a lively viral. As soon as the first one was defeated, the second one attacked from behind.

If you are dealing with this dashing sister, you will fall down in an instant. It was the end that was killed by the third viral from the back.

I don’t have high playing skills, so I’m growing up and playing “nightmares“, so it’s a daily occurrence. 😁

Route to lavender collection site

From the north exit of the tower, go to the front right and follow the roof to the north. The image below shows the radio tower, which is the first destination. First, head to the radio tower.

In this area, you can expect to encounter “viral” at an unexpectedly early stage. 😅

Head north along the roof and you’ll soon find yourself on a road that curves to the right. Sorry for the yellowing of the image during camouflage. 💦

Behind the house with the pay phone in front of you, there is a staircase that extends up, so go ahead.

If you proceed in the order of stairs → wooden bridge → path → turn left at the end, you should reach the radio tower. When you arrive, you will climb up to the wire.

When I climbed to the place where the wire was, I could see the destination in the superb view. Lavender lives in a place where small islands are densely packed.

Grab the wire that extends to the bridge and glide. It is no exaggeration to say that the top of the bridge is a biter’s nest, and many biters are wandering around.

If you quickly move toward the sea and jump in, all you have to do is swim.

Extensive exploration of lavender collection

It is convenient to have a “hook” to move. To collect 6 lavenders that are unexpectedly difficult to find, it is better to look for both ends of the habitat.

Let’s start with the northernmost drum bonfire. This place is located after climbing an uphill like a beast road. Let’s climb to the position of the above image while checking on the map.

The chest next to the bonfire has the blueprint “Destructive Vomiting”.

Beyond the tree next to the chest is the first lavender. From that place, go southeast along the rock surface and discover the second lavender.

If you go a little southeast, rocky areas will appear and you will eventually reach the valley. This is where the hook comes in.

As soon as I used the hook to jump to the other side, there was a third lavender.

From here, you will dive into the sea and move to the island. The remaining lavender can be collected on the island in the image below.

A small island with a tent like a fisherman’s resting place. There is also a zombie figure on the sofa overlooking the sea.

You will find a fourth lavender near the sofa. If you search the surrounding area, you can collect the 5th, 6th and lavender.

The sea is safe, so one way to get there is to swim closer on your way home. It is clear if you take it back to the tower and give it to Toyger.
