Elden Ring ｜ Collecting equipment for lost knights and earning runes ｜

It is my habit to spend time on things that don’t matter and to be complacent. This time, I hunted lost knights at a low level and collected equipment and runes. There is a possibility that spoilers of the game itself may be included, so please be careful when browsing. 😅

The method I’m about to introduce may be effective if you’re still in the early stages of level 20 or lower.

As you can see from the overall map above, I’m still in the early stages of the game. For seniors who have already cleared it, it seems to be lukewarm. 💦

In the wetlands where the dragons of Rimgrave are, there is a “dragon-burnt ruins“, and if you go through the place that was blown from the basement, you will reach “Magic Town Sarria”. The stage this time is self-satisfaction work at the “Dairyu Meal Church” that was ahead of us after running through the “Magic Town Sarria”.

What you can get at the Great Dragon Church

There is a blessing in the Great Dragon Church, and a lost knight is patrolling the area. Of course, if you defeat it and rest with a blessing, the knight will be regenerated again. There is something you can get by using this to go around the knight hunt.

6 types of armament

Although it is a fairly low probability, if you defeat the knight, one of the big sword, shield, helmet, armor, tekō, and instep will be dropped. I continued to lap about 1 hour a day for 3 days to collect everything. 💦

Because I play as a messenger, I wanted a helmet with an emphasis on appearance. Maybe it was the 4th drop. In that case, there is no choice but to complete it!

Runes

You can also collect runes soberly. If you hunt a knight, you will get 623 runes. This is a number that cannot be ridiculed at the beginning.

It’s easy to defeat a knight if you throw away your pride

All you need to do to defeat the Lost Knight is to abandon your pride and take a sigh. No advanced technique or character level is required.

I just want to be able to ride the back stub and the ghost horse.

How to defeat a knight

If you’re a good guess, you’ve already noticed that, in other words, you sneak up from behind, backstub, and immediately ride the ghost horse in the opposite direction and escape.

From the blessing, head toward the dragon statue and turn right to see the lost knight in front of you. At this time, it should be noted that if you rest for a long time due to the blessing or if you do not move near the blessing, you may be attacked by the knight from behind.

Because the knight orbits the perimeter of the church clockwise. If you touch the blessing and take a break → leave immediately, the knight is walking near the gate.

While crouching, take your back and decide on the back stub. Since you can dash even when crouching, there is a slight time saving effect if you use it.

Immediately turn around after the back stub, and when you ride on the ghost horse, escape around the church counterclockwise.

It’s a good idea to stop near the back of the church, but if you’re safe, it’s a good idea to return to the blessing. After returning to the blessing and getting off the sacred horse, crouch in the shadow and observe the surroundings.

There is a high probability that the knight will return, as shown in the image below. Depending on the speed of the ghost horse, it may appear from the blessing side via the back of the church, so be sure to observe the surroundings closely.

Identifying alertness

You are on alert when walking with your sword pulled out. When the sword was put in, it was a signal that the alert state was released, so if you can visually confirm it, let’s approach the decision to back up again.

Back stub → Escape with a ghost horse → Repeat back stub, and if you can defeat it safely, take a rest with a blessing and hunt again. This will be repeated.

Armed a lost knight

The image below (left) is fully equipped. Unfortunately, it will be quite heavy. For operation, it seems necessary to considerably increase endurance by status.
