MARS4 ｜ How to check Caripen GPRV on Metamask法

Pre-sale of vehicle NFT has finally started for land owners at MARS4. “It’s fine to buy, but you’re worried if you can’t actually see it with your own eyes.” Therefore, this time we will introduce how to check the MARS4 vehicle NFT on Metamask.

Three types of vehicle NFTs were launched as planned, but from August 18, 2022, they were pre-sold to land NFT owners. 　CLASSIC, EPIC, and LEGENDARY are priced in ETH currency, and the top-of-the-line LEGENDARY has a really good price. “I couldn’t afford it, so I decided to buy an EPIC.”

Transactions at the time of purchase are done in ERC20 (a specification that applies to tokens that use the Ethereum blockchain). The vehicle NFT seems to be formed on the polygon chain. It seems that the reason is that they chose Polygon Chain, which has low fees, in consideration of users.

How to check on Metamask

Now, I will explain how to import the vehicle NFT to Metamask and make it visible. “I’m talking big, but I’m a young man who entered the world of NFTs and cryptocurrencies in May 2022.” “If there are any mistakes in terminology or expressions, please forgive me.”

Things to prepare

This time, the procedure uses Metamask, so it is assumed that you are using Metamask when purchasing Caripen. “What to prepare is as follows.”

• Metamask wallet (for smartphones)
• Vehicle NFT contract address
• Vehicle NFT ID

We will explain how to find the conotract address and ID of the vehicle NFT in the import procedure.

Vehicle NFT import procedure

Now, I will explain the procedure to import Caripen to Metamask. The general procedure is as follows, but I will explain step by step using images.

1. Switch Wallet Network to Polygon
2. Check the contract address and ID of the vehicle NFT from the polygon chain address
3. Import Vehicle NFT to Wallet

We will proceed on the assumption that the Metamask Wallet app has been downloaded to your smartphone.

① Start Metamask and switch to polygon chain

Now, after launching Metamask, switch the wallet network to Polygon. If Polygon is not registered, you can easily register it in your Metamask wallet by using the site Chainlist.

Launch Metamask on your smartphone and tap Wallet at the top of the screen to display the registered networks. “Tap the polygon here to switch.”

② Copy Polygon’s wallet address and start investigating

Make sure that the bottom of the wallet at the top of the screen is a polygon, and copy the wallet address starting from 0. Using this address, we will look up the contract address and ID of the vehicle NFT you purchased.

For research, I will access a site called Polygonscan. and you should see something similar to the image below. 　Here, paste your polygon address that you copied earlier, and start searching with 🔍.

After the search is completed, the screen will switch to the image below. On this screen, if you enter “MARS4NFT” in the search item on the upper right, MARS4 (MARS4NFT) will be displayed as an option, so select it.

Note that if you just enter MRAS4NFT and enter, an error will be displayed, so be sure to select from the options.

The screen will change and the image below will appear. 　Confirm that MARS4NFT is displayed on the screen, and copy the conotract address displayed on the right side of the screen. “This is the contract address for your vehicle NFT.”

Next is the ID, but when you scroll down the screen, the transaction history is displayed in a row. “Find your polygon address from here.” As the number of MARS4NFT transactions increases, it will be difficult to find them, so it is convenient to write down the date and time when you purchased the vehicle NFT.

As you can see on the screen, the second from the left shows how many hours ago the transaction was made. “With a note in hand, let’s count backwards and start searching.”

If you can find your address safely, there is a token ID on the right side, so make a note of it. “If you’ve made it this far, the goal is just around the corner.”

③ Import vehicle NFT to Metamask

Now go back to Metamask and tap NFT in the middle of the polygon network screen. In the image below, Caripen is displayed because it has already been imported, but nothing should be displayed.

Tap Import NFT at the bottom of the screen to switch to the address and ID input screen, so paste the address you copied earlier and enter the token ID you wrote down in ID. After completing the two inputs, you will be able to tap the import button at the bottom.
