ELEXⅡ
Since the character level has also grown to 30, I decided to rush into the invader’s base. “The location is on a hill near the game start point.” Unlike the scenery I had imagined, the interior gave me a strange impression.
The battle was mainly a fierce and intense gunfight, and I had to say that it would be difficult to capture without preparing enough ammunition. “Unfortunately, I couldn’t attach the battle image because I forgot to record it.”

So, I will introduce the inside of the invader’s base with a landscape image after the capture.🙇

A rare weapon that can be obtained at this location.
An item that increases attack power by 443 compared to your current weapon. “Equipment is still in the future, so it’s possible that you’ll have a powerful weapon by the time you meet the requirements, but I was surprised anyway.”

The location is just above the game start point. Although I found it when exploring through a different route early in the game, I gave up when I went inside because the enemies were too tough. I remembered that, and since I reached level 30, I went out to capture it.

This route is not possible unless you have strengthened your jetpack to some extent, so be careful if you are starting ELEX II or are progressing in the early stages.

It’s a bit off topic, but a jetpack that flies freely in the air isn’t versatile in the early stages. The operating time is short, and it can only be used to cut damage when climbing a small hill or jumping off a high place. “This is convenient, isn’t it?”
I would appreciate it if you could read another article for reference.↓↓↓

When you return to the game start point and look up at the rock surface, you should be able to see the part where the purple crystals are attached. “Rise with a jetpack to the right side of the crystal.”

When you reach the rock surface, walk diagonally to the right. On the left is the entrance of the invader’s base, and on the right you will reach the place where the fast travel device is located.

First, go to the right and release the fast travel transfer device.

If you go down from the entrance and enter the interior, you will arrive at a place where several invaders are wandering. “Let’s pick up a high-powered shotgun system and counterattack in long-range combat.”
As you can see by playing ELEX II, long-distance battles are overwhelmingly easier to fight than close-range battles. Especially for enemies with the 💀 mark, dealing with long-range combat will help reduce stress. On the other hand, close-range battles are ideal for experiencing the tingling tension.

After winning the first invasion, proceed further. When the light begins to shine into the surrounding area, an area where man-made objects and plants coexist appears. “Even though it’s supposed to be buried underground, I’m fascinated by it with a strange feeling.”

The battle will continue here as well, and more and more enemies will use long-range weapons. “If you get hit with an attack like a leather gun, you’ll suddenly turn into a predicament.” Don’t overdo it, hide in the shadows and recover while carefully defeating them one by one.

If you win the second invasion and proceed to the back, the third invasion will begin in a dimly lit machine room. “It was a little easier to defeat the enemy using the large object in the center as a shield.”

Once you win the third invasion, you will finally be able to proceed to the final area. “There are two entrances, but one is a dead end.” “Once you win the fierce battle with the enemy in the final area, it’s finally time to get your hands on a rare weapon.”
Rare weapons are dropped on the right side of the stairs. “It’s a heavy weapon with amazing firepower, but there are some strict requirements for equipping it.”

I’ve played up to level 30, and my ELEX II rating has changed, so I’d like to talk a little bit about the review at the end.
This game can be described in an old-fashioned way as “like dried squid”. “The more you play, the more interesting it becomes.” In the early stages, the game itself, the unreasonable strength of the enemies, the unreliable jetpack, the awkward Japanese translation, etc., are honestly unimpressive. However, once you get past a certain amount of early stages, it becomes interesting all at once.
You will become familiar with conversations with NPCs, and you will be able to sense their individual personalities. If the Japanese translation is perfect, the conversations are so well-crafted that they could stand shoulder to shoulder with Skyrim.

If you increase the propulsion power of the jetpack, it will be possible to fly to some extent and it will be useful when moving. In terms of combat, after reaching character level 20, the level of difficulty changes to a satisfactory level (just my personal impression).

However, long-range combat is overwhelmingly superior to melee combat, so we recommend equipping shotguns as soon as possible. When facing an enemy marked with a 💀, you should be able to feel it by comparing melee and ranged weapons.
Long-range weapons are accompanied by reloading, but if you use the reloading key, the character will take time to replenish the bullets. “This action is very annoying during battle.” As an improvement, if you put the weapon back (sheath it) and then put it back up (sheath it), it will be reloaded. “Reloading = closing → readying will make the battle much easier.”
As introduced on the official page, this work is a good old RPG. Compared to top-class RPGs such as Elden Ring and Horizon, it certainly pales in terms of visuals and action. However, if you ask me if this work is interesting, I would answer yes. If you have experience playing Skyrim or The Witcher 3 and find it interesting, I think the time will come when you will find ELEX II interesting as well.
It goes without saying that the fun and enjoyment of a game differs from person to person. “If you’re worried about the purchase itself and don’t have a priority purchase, I recommend that you go ahead and buy it and play it.”

That’s all for now. “Let’s meet again in another article.” “I hope that this article will be of some help.”
