ELEXⅡ
By the way, have you ever found a map fragment while exploring the planet Magalan? “Numbers are assigned to these fragments, and there are 16 of them in total.” And by collecting all the map fragments, you can fulfill the conditions for clearing a certain mission.

Introduces the location of all map fragments and their relationship to the mission’s strictly guarded secrets
【目次】
Let’s introduce. “Please note that they are not necessarily in order of numbers on the map.” The order in which they are introduced has been considered so that you can go around the map without moving around as much as possible. 💦
Located northeast of the Outlaw Outpost, in a ruined cave on the edge of a mountain.

Refer to the image below and proceed through the entrance made of tin on the left side of the ruins. “If you go to the end, you will find a fragment of the map.”

There is a Fast Travel “Crater Cliff” near the Outlaw base, and there is a map fragment on the nearby Ruined Rooftop.

Nearby are ruins with collapsed walls, like the image below. “If you go up to the roof with a jetpack, you’ll be able to find the map fragment.”

Follow the road west from the ruins and you’ll find the Fast Travel Snowy Settlement. “There are several buildings here, and let’s find a building with an ashtray at the entrance.”

The target building has an ashtray on the left of the entrance, as shown in the image below. When you go inside and go up the stairs on the left, you will find a map fragment under the picture on the wall.

If you follow the road from west to north from the settlement in the snow, you will find Volcano Company Land. “I’m sure some of you have noticed, but we’re making our way around the Albu base.”

Here, head north from the fast travel point and you’ll find a long table with a map fragment on it.

There is an old chemical plant a little further northwest from the Volcano company estate.

It’s a little hard to understand here, so please refer to the enlarged map below. “From the fast travel point, go northwest to the top of the terrain.” “Of course, there are enemy monsters roaming around, so let’s proceed in a battle stance.”

If you can find a concrete hut like the one below, congratulations! “There is a map fragment on the table to the left of the entrance.”

This place is a little far away, and you will be moving to the northeast (near the upper right corner) of the whole map.

You can see it from the fast travel point, but there are stone ruins to the east. “There is a desk on the circular artifact here, with a map fragment on it.”

Head south from east of Malakor to a snow-free area and you’ll find Central Thomson Town. “There is a skyscraper in the northern corner of the area, above which is a fragment of a map.”

To reach the top of this skyscraper, you need more than enough fuel for your jetpack. “One option is to come after completing all the main missions.” When you clear the main mission in ELEX II, you will be able to fly around freely, ignoring the jetpack’s fuel.
If you haven’t cleared ELEX II’s submissions, you can freely try them even after clearing the main mission. The same goes for searching for fragments of this map.

When you reach the rooftop, or rather the collapsed floor, there is a fragment of the map. “There is also a rare weapon death stick nearby here, so let’s collect it.”

North of central Thomson Town, there is a fast travel point called Thomson Town North. “The next destination is on the cliff to the east from that place.”

If you have a certain amount of fuel in your jetpack, you can go to the top of the cliff at once. This time, the place where the red mat is placed is the destination. You can’t see it from the sky unless you get close to a certain distance, so be careful.

From the north of Thomson Town, follow the road to the northwest and you will see an abandoned ruin on your left. “There is a fragment of the map inside, but depending on the time of your visit, visibility may be poor, so carefully search for the desk by the wall.”

It’s very easy to locate, on a circular plateau next to the fast travel point.

If you go upstairs, you’ll find a fragment of a map stuck in a board with a sword.

Next, let’s fast travel to the first stop at the beginning of the game, “Center of the World, West Karakis”. To the south, there is a tall man-made object such as a water supply facility.

Go all the way up and you’ll find a map fragment.

Head to the Cleric Stronghold northwest of Bastion.

Enter the base from the fast travel point and proceed as shown in the image below.

It’s a little hard to understand, but if you follow the image below as a reference, you’ll reach a place with a red faction flag hanging on the left wall. There is an entrance on the opposite side of the wall (to the right when facing north), so let’s go inside.

There will be a staircase soon, so if you move up, you will find a map fragment on the shelf. “It will be stolen, but if there are no witnesses around, you will not be punished.”

Head south from the Cleric Base to reach the Berserker Base.

The next destination is the house next to the dome-shaped building in the base. “When you go inside, you’ll find a fragment of a map on the table.”
Note that there may be people in front of the building. “Since it will be treated as stealing this time as well, if there are people there, you will need to pay them.”

Return to the fast travel point at the entrance of the Berserker base and head north until you reach the area with the antenna tower.

There is a map fragment on the roof of the building in this lot. “As a point of caution, there is one security machine wandering around, so ignore it if you are unsure of your firepower.”

If you go west from the antenna tower, you will find the center of the world. The next destination is the antenna facility near the fast travel point.

Inside the hut adjacent to the antenna, next to the sleeping bag, is a map fragment.

Scroll down the map and head towards the ocean. “The destination is the broken bridge that leads to the small island.”

As you can see in the image below, there is a map fragment near the middle of the bridge. “Now we have all the map fragments.”

There is a mission called the strictly guarded secret of Karakis. “I didn’t know how to clear this mission, so I left it until the end.” “Opening the safe will clear the mission, but even looking at the log, I couldn’t understand it.”

Mission Unlocking a closely guarded secret requires discovering a vault at the location pictured below. “The old steel mill is located between Bastion and the Outlaw base.”

In the building at the north corner of the old steel mill, go inside and go up to the second floor to find a safe. “If you try to open the safe, the mission will be unlocked.”

The room where Bastion’s bed is located, which he uses as his home, and where he sticks the map fragments on the wall.

After pasting all the fragments, we arrive at the keyword Infinite Sky. If you check the mission’s strictly guarded secret log again, there is an explanation of Infinite Sky Corporation.

I never imagined that collecting all the map fragments would lead to opening the safe. I was able to understand it by collecting all the map fragments, pasting them on the walls of my home, and checking the mission log.
When you come to the old ironworks safe, the safe opens and the mission is completed.

Even if you don’t get the contents, it didn’t seem to affect the completion of the main mission, but I was able to unlock the achievement lock (something like a trophy).

I was able to successfully complete all missions. You can explore every nook and cranny of Magalan with a jetpack that allows you to fly around freely, or you can hunt numerous enemies, including Skyand, that have appeared in various places.

However, there are many game software that are sleeping, so you will be playing in your spare time. I can’t say that ELEX II is a god game, but I personally felt that it was a good game. Unique character training where 5 stats are closely related to equipment and abilities, conversations with each NPC, battles that become fun when you overcome the unreasonableness of the early stages, and you can freely fly around the sky after completing the main mission. It’s exhilarating, and it’s a work that you can fully enjoy even if you haven’t played the first edition.

That’s all for now. “Let’s meet again in another article.” “I hope that this article will be of some help.”
