Selection in the main job “Nocturne No. 15”

On the rooftop following Misty, Johnny proposes an option to decide the END branch. At this point, select “I’ll bet on Arasaka’s story, though it’s risky.”

What I added earlier is that even after taking the blocking drug, the options are displayed as shown in the image below. This is the timing to make the final decision, and it is also the scene where the END that can be chosen while Johnny is put to sleep with a blocking drug becomes clear.

In other words, the ENDs that can be selected while Johnny is asleep are the Devil END and the Star END route (Star END or Temperance END).

It’s a little confusing, so I’ll explain it. This is the one that finally surrenders the body to Johnny, but both the Sun END route and the Star END route are forced to choose who will use the body at the end. At the end of each, if V regains his body, the Sun END or Star END will be activated, and if he surrenders his body to Johnny, the Temperance END will be activated. “The rewards you receive will change depending on the route, but the contents of the END movie will be the same.”

Contact Hanako

If you contact Hanako, the devil’s END route will be confirmed and you will be waiting for her to pick you up. “When you get off the elevator, Misty is standing there looking worried.” “Spend time with Misty’s tarot readings while waiting for your pick-up.”

Recapture Hanako at Yorinob’s mansion

Conversation with the recommended mansion gatekeeper

When you enter the gate, the gatekeeper will approach you. You’ll be presented with conversation options several times here, but ignore all “attack” options. It’s more fun to see Hermann’s actions than V to be the gatekeeper.

If you avoid all attacks and proceed with the conversation, the scene where Hermann crushes the gatekeeper with a car is selected. “It would be a great waste to overlook this scene.”

Neutralize security

1. Enter from the right side of the garden and move to the mansion
2. Neutralize one guard in front of the mansion
3. Return to the right side of the mansion (right side facing the mansion entrance) and neutralize the defense of the two.
4. Take the stairs on the right side of the mansion to the 2nd floor and neutralize the first elite unit.
5. Move to the rooftop on the nearby stairs and neutralize one defender
6. Return to the 2nd floor, move from the atrium to the 1st floor and neutralize the second elite unit sitting on the floor.
7. Go outside through the main entrance and neutralize 1 or 3 defenders.
8. Neutralize one guard in the left back of the mansion
9. Enter the mansion from the nearby door and neutralize one guard
10. Neutralize the 3rd and 4th members of the elite unit in the back kitchen
11. Neutralize the rest of the defense, and finally neutralize the Arasaka walking weapon to complete

Enter from the right side of the garden and move to the mansion

After getting out of Hermann’s car, go to the right. “Arasaka walking weapons are placed in the garden, so wait until they go too far to avoid being discovered.”

Alasaka walking weapons deployed as security robots patrol a fixed route and basically do not turn around.

I took the route to the mansion from the stairs on the right back. When you reach the stairs, Hanako informs you about the deployment of security guards, but in the end you have to confirm with your own eyes.

Neutralize one guard in front of the mansion

First of all, I targeted the defense of one person in front of the front entrance of the mansion. “You don’t have to stick to this, you can target the two defenders outside the right side of the mansion as your first target.” What I personally felt was that it was easier to progress to the mansion on the right route than on the left route.

While paying attention to the two guards placed on the right side of the mansion, if you proceed along the outer wall of the mansion, it will be easy to get behind. After disabling it with the grapple, go back the way you came and move to the right side of the mansion again.

Return to the right side of the mansion (right side facing the mansion entrance) and neutralize the defense of the two.

Now, come to the right side of the mansion. I think it doesn’t matter which one comes first, but when I waited for a while, one of them was sitting on the sofa and the other was facing outside over the handrail. Without missing this chance, I disabled the defenders facing outside first, and then disabled the defenders sitting near the sofa along the railing.

There will be a time difference, but around the time the third defender is disabled, the disabled defense will be discovered in front of you and you will be on alert.

Take the stairs on the right side of the mansion to the 2nd floor and neutralize the first elite unit.

If you take the stairs near the sofa to the second floor, you will find an elite unit on the other side of the central atrium. I felt that it was easy to approach from behind, as it was conspicuous that it was facing the direction of the stairs outside and in the back of the mansion.

Move to the rooftop on the nearby stairs and neutralize one defender

As you can see in the image below, after disabling the defense and moving up the stairs, the 3rd floor was the rooftop. “If you look closely, you should be able to see an enemy figure in the back.”

After approaching from behind and disabling it, return to the stairs and move to the second floor again.

Move from the atrium to the 1st floor and neutralize the second elite unit

If you look down from the atrium, you can see the second elite unit sitting on their knees. Even if I jumped down the atrium from behind while crouching, I didn’t get noticed.

I was able to disable it very easily.

Move out from the front entrance

When you go out from the main entrance, you can see that the three defenders are in alert on the mini map in the upper right of the screen. I disabled the defense near the stairs on the far right, and left the remaining two to the far left of the mansion.

Neutralize one guard in the left back of the mansion

As you can see in the image below, there is one guard in the back on the left side of the mansion. I disabled this and proceeded into the mansion through the door next to it.

There was a door right next to it, so I decided to enter the mansion again. When I entered, there was one guard in front of me, and I was almost spotted, but I went outside once and disabled it with a grapple. After digging around a bit, you can go inside and open the door to find a room that looks like a kitchen.

Neutralize the remaining elite units in the kitchen

The remaining two elite units were lurking in this kitchen. After entering the door and disabling the elite unit on the right, another elite unit approached from behind.

When this happens, there is no other way but to cut it with a sword. Firearms tend to attract enemies with the sound of firing, so I tried to use melee weapons without knowing whether they would be effective or not.

Complete by neutralizing remaining defensive and walking weapons

The rest of the defense was nullified with a sword, and when I moved to the garden, I destroyed the last walking weapon and completed it. “Walking weapons can be safely destroyed by shorting the circuit and then slashing at them.” “In the end, we can’t take Hanako out without disabling all security.”

Arasaka Tower

Hanako and Hermann board an AV and head to Arasaka Tower. There will be some conversations in the AV on the way, but you can choose freely without worrying about it and it won’t affect the ending.

Astonishing facts come to light

When he arrives at Arasaka Tower, Hanako tells him that he has something to do before going to the executive board meeting, and he follows suit. “I learned a shocking fact when I arrived in the room.”

The hologram in the image below was the construct of the strangled Saburo Arasaka himself. Saburo Arasaka had completed his own copy. “There was complete immortality.”

Enter Adam Smasher

Adam Smasher appears in front of V heading towards the top of the atrium, where Yorinob seems to be. A battle with Adam Smasher is prepared at the end of all endings, except for the Suicide END.

Unlike other endings, there are no helpers in the Adam Smasher fight in the Akuma END. “V must deal with Adam Smasher and several snipers on his own.”

If Adam Smasher is defeated, even if there are snipers left, they will be silent.

Restrain Yorinob

After defeating Adam Smasher, proceed to the room where Yorinob is. Inside, a weak Yorinob is sitting down. Apparently Yorinob was thinking of killing himself with the single bullet left in his pistol.

After a brief conversation, Hanako appears, and Yorinobu’s appearance on her knees makes me feel pitiful. Looking at the two of them sideways, V was taken by Hermann and headed for a construct extraction surgery.

After the screen goes dark, the story resumes with Johnny speaking at a place that looks like a mikoshi seen in the other endings. Unlike other routes, Johnny here speaks as if he is V. This is just a guess, but it felt like he was expressing his resentment that Johnny, who already recognized himself as a part of V, would be eliminated without any discussion.

As with this route, which was the END of the Sun and END of the Star, a choice will come to determine the final course of action. Regardless of which one you choose, the ending movie will reflect V’s own future, albeit with changes. “In other words, it only has to do with how the Devil’s END ends.”

The day after V went on a rampage in his room, Hermann came and told him that he didn’t have long to live. What was proposed here was whether to return to Earth and spend the rest of my life there, or to live as a construct in Arasaka.

If you refuse to sign

If you select Return to Earth, the movie will start from the scene where you leave the room with your luggage. Looking at the earth from behind, V felt weak and lonely.
