Sailing Era
As you progress through the Shizuma arc, a mission to find “teak wood” will occur at the beginning of the game. One day when I was about to give up, I was lucky enough to find out how to find teak wood. After living for more than half a century, this is the first challenge in my life, a strategy adventure that will come to an end.

It was such a big deal that I almost gave up on this game.
As you can see in the image below, if you get a deep-sea ship and advance the mission goal to Southeast Asia, you will know the existence of “teakwood” in Zadin Port. Here, the task of “examining the source of teak wood”, which can be said to be the biggest challenge in life, occurred. “If you search the nearby Ominato, you won’t find it anywhere.”

Information on teak is available at teahouses in Malacca, but it takes a little more work. In order to forget about my mission, I skipped the voyage and went on a journey to find a port. If you’re familiar with this kind of game, you might notice that a Zubno amateur like me can’t find the answer without tutorials and videos. “A fluke is a good thing this time.”
Now, I will introduce the procedure to obtain the information that I experienced.
As usual, I will explain the procedure with pictures.
First, let’s head to Malacca. As you can see in the image below, if you go south from the port of Zadin and go out into the Indian Ocean, you will find the port of Malacca.

As I was a wanderer, I happened to discover Malacca on my way from the Indian Ocean to Japan.

Next, let’s visit Theory Street Chaya. Here you will meet a girl named Latia, but she will only talk about general things if you just have a normal conversation. “Actually, I had a conversation once and ignored it.”
When I returned to sell my cargo, I stopped by a teahouse and had a conversation to pass the time, when I was confronted with a shocking truth.

This is just a speculation, but by raising the favorability, it will tell you information about teak wood.
Also, in order to efficiently increase the favorability rating, I think it would be good to find “Natural scenery, Japan” in advance. By chance, while sailing near Tottori Prefecture, I happened to find [Senro-kei], which can be found in the observatory.

As usual, have a drink and gather information. “Here, you can obtain sunken ship information in a common pattern.”

Tenkai Takigawa is on the upper right from the first time, but if you select it, you will be treated as if you talk to Latia.

The second time, after having a drink, select the observations. Then, Latia started talking about Japanese cherry blossoms, so I responded with the story of [Senroukei], which I happened to have.

Then, Latia started talking about Japanese cherry blossoms, so I responded with the story of [Senroukei], which I happened to have. “This worked, and my favorability rose at once, and I filled one heart mark.”

Here, if you talk to her again, Latia will forcefully ask you to run an errand to buy coconuts, and she will even pay for the purchase. “I handled the coconut errands later, but I left them untreated here.”

By the way, the nearest port where you can buy coconuts is “Banjarmasin”.

In the upper right NPC selection, “Takigawa Amami”, which should have disappeared after being used once, will reappear after the favorability rises. “Since it has appeared, you will choose it!”

Tenkai Takigawa asks Ratia again about teak wood.

In response to Tenkai Takigawa’s question, Latia gives information about teak wood. I haven’t verified it many times, so it’s just speculation, but I think that Latia’s favorability will probably meet 💛. “After that, I would appreciate it if you could try it yourself.”

In order to explore inland areas, you must obtain a permit from your administrative district for a “Land Exploration Qualification”. “To do so, you need to earn 100 port contribution values.”

Here’s an explanation for beginners like me. Each port has a permit, and there are things that can’t be done without obtaining approval for land exploration and distribution. In order to obtain approval, there are contribution value points required depending on the content of the approval, and in order to earn quickly, it is necessary to complete errand-like requests at the merchant guild in the commercial district.

Here in Zardin, a purchase contract for 6 beeswax is recommended. “Beeswax is sold in Palembang, south of Zadin.” Palembang is located a little further south than Malacca, which I visited earlier.

Once you reach 100 contribution values, you will get a permit.

If you can get a permit, you will be able to stay overnight at the inn and explore. “In order to explore, you need supplies, which means you need money.” Starting with drinking with Latia, running errands for the guild, supplies for exploration, and so on, it all costs money. “That said, if the guild’s errands are successful, you’ll receive a reward, so you’ll get some of it back.”

First, we will form a team. “Basically, if you have a carrier such as a horse, you should select it and select high-level characters for the remaining three slots.”

Next, set the expedition tools and supplies. First, select the tools you want to bring, and finally set the maximum value of the supplies you can carry and set off.

I don’t know if it’s the same place no matter who does it, but in my case I found it in the right direction from the starting point.

When you arrive at the spot, a forest event will occur and you will be forced to make a choice. Inevitably, I chose Yoshitaka Shizuma and obtained teak wood. “After all, it’s something that I’ve experienced as a complete amateur, so it’s possible that everything isn’t correct.” “I would be grateful if you could refer to this as a piece of information for those who are stuck with teak wood.”
Finally, I hope you enjoy your sailing gera life! “Thank you for coming this far.”

That’s all for now. “Let’s meet again in another article.” “I hope that this article will be of some help.”
