Hogwarts Legacy | Hogsmeade Eye Chest Map

While thanking all the witches and wizards who provide information on the internet, I created a Hogsmeade eye chest map based on that information. This article would not have been possible without the efforts of those who have provided information thus far. I really appreciate it.

What is iChest?

I’m sure many of you already know this, but I would like to briefly touch on the eye chest. Commonly known as a treasure chest with an eyeball or a treasure chest that cannot be opened, it is a chest like the image below. “He’s a cute guy who closes his lid tightly when the player approaches.”

How to open the eye chest

An eye chest that closes its lid when it sees you. In other words, if you have mastered the “Blinding Technique” shown in the image below, you can use it to steal the contents of your eye chest as much as you want.

As you progress through the main story quests, you’ll be able to learn them naturally. “The contents are all 500 Galleons, so it can be said that it’s a lot of money in the early stages.”

Hogsmeade eye chest map

As I mentioned at the beginning, if the investigation is correct, there are 13 eye chests in Hogsmeade. “The image below is a summary of that.” 　There are some parts that do not fit on the map, so I have marked one red arrow each to the north and south.

The north arrow points to the Dogweed and Deathcap store, and the south arrow points to an artifact (a park-like area).

Based on this map, we will introduce them in numerical order with images.

First of all, it is in the [Dogweed and Deathcap] shop that sells magical plants and seeds that you will visit during the quest.

It’s on the left after entering the entrance. “Let’s open the chest with the voice of the chatty madam shopkeeper as BGM.” “Basically, it’s best to go around with the blinding spell running.”

If you go west along the river, you will come to a cemetery, and there is an eye chest in the grounds.

Enter from the gate installed along the river, and if you go straight, you will find a hut. “It’s quietly installed behind it.”

Next is the back of the house at the end of the road along the river from the gate of the cemetery.

There are three bridges in Hogsmeade, and the eye chest is hidden under the westernmost bridge.

If you’re coming from the cemetery area, you’ll find it by crossing the bridge and proceeding to the lower right.

⑤ eye chest

From here, continue along the perimeter of Hogsmeade. You can find the ⑤ eye chest behind the house that moved south from the place under Hashimoto earlier.

⑥ eye chest

Proceed from the ⑤ eye chest to the south entrance of Hogsmeade. ⑥ The eye chest is inside a store that sells magic books.

welcome! If you go to the left behind the shopkeeper who welcomes you, you will find a place that seems to be a bedroom.

⑦ eye chest

This place is a bit off the beaten path. When you move to the position of the image below, you will find an artifact that looks like a park.

The chest was in a position like the image below.

⑧ eye chest

Next time we will go around the outer circumference. “Let’s move to a place with several houses in a row, as shown in the image below.”

There are 8 eye chests in places where there are several low stone walls.

Move further north from ⑧.

There is an eye chest behind the house like the image below.

Move to the easternmost of the three bridges. “There is a chest in the house near the bridge.”

Easy to find from the bridge. “If you use Reberio, it will be highlighted, so it’s understandable.”

⑪ eye chest

If you follow the road south through the town from the previous bridge, you can find it beyond the stone wall on the right.

⑫ eye chest

This is also inside the magic fashion store.

There is an eye chest on the wall on the right side as you enter the store.

⑬ eye chest

The last one is a little hard to find, but it’s easier to find if you head from the bridge in the middle. After crossing the bridge from the cemetery side, there is an eye chest behind the house on the right.
