In the square northeast of Hogsmeade, talk to an old woman who wants to help you. “This will unlock the rare unicorn side quest.”

Needless to say, once you show the location on the map from the quest screen, the first thing you should do is go to that location and find Hazel. The simple steps are as follows.

There are two unicorns in the area. “One of them is Hazel, but from my experience, I feel that Hazel is often the one on the left.”

Hazel runs away when she notices us. “Once you lose sight of it, it may be difficult to find it.” If you use Rebellio, it will be displayed in blue, but it is not rare that it will not respond unless you have strengthened the range. “What to do if you lose sight of it is explained in the notes section.”

Stop and capture with Arrest Momentum. If you start moving in the middle, you should be able to stop the movement with a spell and resume capturing before the capture gauge disappears.

Finally, report to Betty and the quest will be cleared, but there are some points to be aware of in the conversation options here as well.

What to do if you lose track of Hazel

First, use Rebellio to look around. It would be nice if it was displayed in blue here, but if not, instead of searching, you can move to the nearest fast travel point and head to the site again to start over.

Be sure to ask for money as a conversation option. “500G will be added as a clear reward.”
