Basic knowledge of game progress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For those of you who have been familiar with the series since ELEX II like me, I will introduce a little about how to proceed with the quest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In ELEX II, the Japanese translation is a bit awkward, making it difficult to understand how to proceed with the game itself. As with normal RPGs, there are main quests to advance the story and sub-quests that occur through conversations with NPCs, but if you do nothing, you will not be navigated to the map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, it is vague where to go and what to do. If you don’t know how to proceed with ELEX, you won’t know what to do from the beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this work, it is no exaggeration to say that everything starts with opening the menu screen.<\/p>\n\n\n

Subquests that are difficult to understand | Elex distribution to collectors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The sub-quest “Distribution of Elex to collectors” that we covered this time can be accepted by talking to the NPC Blacks in the base of the Alb forces. “The reason I picked it up is that it’s hard to understand how to carry out the contents of the order.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you can see in the image below, the request is to steal the surplus Erex rations from the storage! That’s what I’m talking about.<\/p>\n\n\n

Information that is often overlooked<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At the bottom right of the log screen, you should see the words “Show Dialog” alongside “Mark on Map”. By doing this, the conversations with NPCs in each quest will be displayed in chronological order, which can be very useful.<\/p>\n\n\n

ELEX II seems to put a lot of emphasis on conversations with NPCs, and most of the quests involve very long conversations. “It’s impossible to remember every detail.” “Hints for quest progress are often hidden in conversations.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you double-check your conversation with Brax, you’ll find two keywords.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Open the safe and bring the rations<\/strong><\/li>
  • I’ll teach you how to open the safe<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The unopened Elex rations are in the vault, and if you don’t know how to open the vault, they’ll tell you. I spent a lot of time walking around the map-navigated yellow area until I realized this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In other words, finding 5 eligible safes and unlocking them electronically will give you 5 unopened Elex rations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How to clear the quest<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    A level 2 hacking ability is required to open the safe. “The first thing you should do is learn Level 2 hacking.” “If your character level does not meet the requirements for learning hacking abilities, it will be impossible to clear the quest itself.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    There is a possibility that NPCs who can teach you how to hack exist in each faction base besides Blacks. “Even if it’s not around Albu, level up through other quests and battles, and learn from the nearest instructor before starting.”<\/p>\n\n\n
